FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Answers regarding battery shipping, 520 JPY refund, lead times, and rebuilt specifications.
Battery Shipping & 520 JPY Refund
Send your battery via Japan Post Letter Pack and get a full 520 JPY shipping refund upon completion. (Use Yu-Pack or Sagawa for large batteries).
Q
What is a rebuilt/recycled battery? How does it differ from a brand-new battery?
A
Rebuilding involves taking your depleted battery pack, preserving the outer casing and circuitry, and replacing all degraded internal battery cells with brand-new cells. It restores original runtime and power at significantly lower cost than buying OEM replacements.
Q
How do I ship my battery to VMAX?
A
Drop your battery into a Japan Post 'Letter Pack' (520 JPY) and mail it to us. The 520 JPY postage is fully refunded after rebuilding is completed! For large packs (such as e-bike batteries), please send via Yu-Pack or Sagawa Express.
Q
What is the shipping address?

Please send to:
32-1 Tsurigane, Iwatsuki-ku, Saitama City, Saitama 339-0024, Japan

Q
What is the difference between cell replacement and battery refreshing?
A
Battery refreshing merely cycles the old tired cells to temporarily clear memory effects. In contrast, our rebuilding service replaces 100% of internal cells with brand-new high-grade cells, restoring factory capacity.
Q
Can you rebuild discontinued or legacy battery models?
A
Yes! As long as the outer casing and connectors are intact and pass initial inspection, almost any discontinued power tool or bicycle battery can be rebuilt with new cells.
Q
How long does the rebuilding process take?
A
Power tool batteries typically take 3 to 5 business days after arrival. E-bike batteries take approximately 6 business days due to higher cell counts and safety testing cycles.
Q
Are there special precautions for using rebuilt batteries for the first time?
A
Yes. Brand new cells are chemically inactive initially. Please perform a refresh cycle or continuous charge for at least 24 hours before first use. Repeating 2-3 charge cycles will unlock full runtime.
Q
What insurance or safety guarantees do you provide?
A
We carry Product Liability (PL) Insurance, and all batteries undergo strict spot-welding inspection and charge/discharge testing by dedicated technicians.
